to deliver the message, on foot, hand to hand,
face to face, step by step, drop by drop.
It's incredible to think this dream began just one year ago with the first ever non-stop around-the-world relay. In honor of the anniversary of the the Blue Planet Run 2007, we have created a Commemorative Package that will bring back great memories for anyone associated with the epic event. The Basic Package includes these official event items: T-shirt, Baton, Blue Shoelace, Poster, and National Geographic Map. The Deluxe Packages include a Timbuk2 Messenger Bag in your choice of color, either red or green.

Poster: Starting in New York City. 21 athletes ran around the clock along a route that included the U.S., Ireland, the U.K., France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Belarus, Russia, Mongolia, China, Japan and Canada. Each runner carried the baton 10 miles a day. 13" x 19" in size. Blue Planet Run Baton: Inscribed with our "Message" about water, the official BPR/Dow baton was passed at more than1500 exchange points. These replicas of the baton carried around the world are made of 100% recycled Dow plastic. The unique and sleek design separates into two tall drinking cups, perfect for making toasts. Blue Shoelaces: Make a statement without saying a word. Lace up your athletic shoes with BPR 2007 shoelaces to remind yourself every time you wear them that safe drinking water is precious and one out of six people is going without it. T-Shirt: The run ended back in New York City on September 4, 2007. Each exchange point and heartfelt moment was captured in the media, fueled by events in major cities and an international PR campaign. One way to keep the message circulating is by wearing the t-shirt to create conversation anywhere and everywhere. Messenger Bag: These athletes served as messengers to bring awareness to the world and to help bring safe drinking water to the billion plus people who don't have it. (red or green) National Geographic Map: As a bonus we will throw in an official National Geographic map of the 2007 route and water issues around the world created for Dow and Blue Planet Run.
